Shooting Weddings

Date: 26/08/08 & 28/08/08

Venue: Fota House

Price; €650

What to Bring:

Please bring along all the kit you would normally use when shooting a wedding, including wet weather gear (although we hope it won't be necessary!) as of course we all know weddings have to go ahead regardless of the weather!

Damien always uses a monopod at weddings, and will be using them throughout the day. If you don't have one it will be worthwhile borrowing or buying one before the course as you may well find it frustrating to have movement on your images shot in low light (unless you have a Nikon D3). We don't have any particular model recommendations but Damien uses a Manfrotto; it's really a personal preference and you need to try before you buy and don't go for a monopod head, go for a ball and socket head; one that allows movement in all directions.
My advice is "If in doubt - bring it" as it would be frustrating to be without something.

Please note: All of this is correct at time of publishing, if changes take place that are out of our control we will do our best to rectify it.

Many Thanks

Damien will be discussing the timings and planning required for covering a wedding on your own. You will have the opportunity to shoot the pictures Damien sets up. This intensive workshop has been designed to increase your efficiency and repertoire. You will be shown how to shoot pictures that sell. This event is limited to just 8 delegates for optimum tuition.

There are no models involved for this course, but actual couples, people who are married or are intending to be soon. This will be more realistic than having models attend.

Liberate your creativity; soak up the enthusiasm, drive and passion that Damien will share at this unique event.
